Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s upcoming Jesus Christ Superstar concert will stream outdoors.
The production will be broadcast ‘live’ via a giant screen on the venue’s lawn.
5,000 additional tickets costing £20 each have been released initially for performances from 19 – 30 August 2020.

Tickets for a seat in the auditorium, which will see capacity reduced to 390 remain on sale online now here.
The concert production will run for 90 minutes without an interval.
The cast for the concert was previously confirmed with Declan Bennett and Pepe Nufrio sharing the title role of Jesus; Ricardo Afonso and Tyrone Huntley sharing the role of Judas; and Anoushka Lucas and Maimuna Memon sharing the role of Mary.
They’re joined by David Thaxton as Pilate; Shaq Taylor as Herod; Ivan De Freitas as Caiaphas; Nathan Amzi as Annas; Phil King as Peter and Cedric Neal as Simon with Genesis Lynea, Rosa O’Reilly and Elliotte Williams-N’Dure as the Soul Sisters.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1970 rock opera that is loosely based on the final week of Jesus’ life.
