West End stars to perform in online charity concerts

A host of West End performers will sing in a series of online concerts in September.

The newly announced West End Unplugged series will raise funds for a trio of charities: Backup, Help Musicians and Theatre Artists Fund.

Producer Bobby Aitken said: “All funds raised on the day will benefit three amazing charities: Backup-The Technical Theatre Charity, Help Musicians UK, and The Theatre Artists Fund.

“We feel that between them, these three charities best represent everyone in our theatre family.”

Four shows will take place on Wednesdays weekly between September 9 and 30. You’ll be able to watch via the West End Unplugged website here.
