Fame The Musical is hitting the West End in autumn 2019 – here’s all you need to know.
Fresh from a 30th anniversary tour across the UK, the classic stage show will play the Peacock Theatre between September 11 and October 19.
Based on the iconic 1980s film film, Fame The Musical follows the lives of students at New York’s High School For The Performing Arts as they navigate their way through the highs and lows, the romances and the heartbreaks and the ultimate elation of life.
After making its world premiere in Miami, Florida in 1988, Fame The Musical has held productions across the world and picked up a number of awards. The 1995 original West End production was nominated for an Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

The cast of Fame in the West End will include Any Dream Will Do’s Keith Jack as Nick, star of stage and screen Mica Paris as Miss Sherman and Jorgie Porter, best known for her TV appearances in I’m A Celebrity, Dancing On Ice and Hollyoaks, as Iris.
Further casting for the West End company will be confirmed.
Note that as ever, producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist, which is always subject to illness and holidays.
Performances will take place 7:30PM Tuesday-Saturday plus 7PM on Sundays. There will be matinees on both Saturday and Sunday at 2:30PM and 2PM respectively.
The show has a running time of 2 hours and 20 minutes, including interval.
The production is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, featuring design by Morgan Large, sound by Ben Harrison and musical supervision from Mark Crossland.
