& Juliet synopsis and plot

& Juliet is a brand new musical coming to Manchester and London’s West End in 2019.

& Juliet is described as an “irreverent and fun-loving new West End musical” that asks: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning?

Inspired by William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet, & Juliet plays out as if the heartbroken lover put down the dagger during the fateful scene.

A teaser of the show adds: “When it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo…”

Orchestrations will come from Bill Sherman with direction by Luke Sheppard (In the Heights), book by David West Read (Netflix’s Schitt’s Creek), choreography from Jennifer Weber and set design from Soutra Gilmour.
