The Last Five Years at Southwark Playhouse to stream online worldwide

The Last Five Years at Southwark Playhouse will stream online globally this November.

The the acclaimed revival opened at the London venue earlier this year but performances were cut short due to the ongoing pandemic.

The production reopened in October in a newly configured socially distanced auditorium with a limited seating capacity, playing through to November 14.

But for those not able to make it in person, or if you want to watch it again from home, there’s good news.

The production will stream a multi-camera recorded version online between November 26 and November 29. Tickets to watch the stream are available online here via Stream.Theatre.

Molly Lynch and Oli Higginson star in the cast for the production, reprising their roles as Cathy and Jamie from the original run earlier this year.

With a book, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, The Last Five Years is all about the relationship between Jamie and Cathy, two twenty-somethings living in New York.

The new production is directed by Jonathan O’Boyle with musical direction and orchestrations by George Dyer.

Featuring a unique actor-musician staging, choreography comes from Sam Spencer-Lane with design by Lee Newby, lighting by Jamie Platt and sound from Adam Fisher.
