A Christmas Carol to play Bridge Theatre this Christmas

A new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will play at London’s Bridge Theatre this Christmas.

The new version, devised and directed by Nicholas Hytner, will play at the venue between 27 November 2020 through to 16 January 2021.

Simon Russell Beale, Patsy Ferran and Eben Figueiredo make up the cast, sharing all the roles between them.

Alongside Hytner, the creative team includes set design by Bunny Christie, costumes and associate set design by Rose Revitt, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Gareth Fry, video design by Luke Halls and music by Grant Olding.

Tickets and more information are available online now via the Bridge Theatre website.

A teaser for the show reads: “A Christmas Carol didn’t just invent Christmas as we know it. It is also scary, joyful, spooky, hilarious, furious, beautiful, and a triumphant declaration that even the hardest heart can melt.

“Three outstanding actors – Simon Russell Beale, Patsy Ferran and Eben Figueiredo – come together to tell the story and play all the parts.”
