Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is returning to London’s West End for 2021 – here’s all you need to know.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie tells the story of 16-year-old Jamie New, who is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. He is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

The current West End production has been adapted to be Covid-secure with the plot also altered to reference the pandemic.

The show will return to play at the Apollo Theatre. The nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus.

The musical will begin performances on 20 May 2021.

It has a running time of 2 hours 35 minutes (including interval).

Tickets for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’s socially distant in the West End are now on public sale. Costs range from £12 to £150.

The standard performance schedule is Tuesday to Sunday at 7:30pm with Saturday & Sunday matinees at 2:30pm.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie West End cast 2021

The reopening West End cast will be led by Noah Thomas in the title role.

Joining Thomas are Melissa Jacques (Margaret New), Shane Richie (Hugo / Loco Chanelle), Sejal Keshwala (Ray), Hiba Elchikhe (Pritti Pasha) and Gillian Ford (Miss Hedge).

Further cast includes James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Garry Lee (Sandra Bollock), David O’Reilly (Laika Virgin) Marlon G Day (Jamie’s Dad), Jordan Ricketts (Dean Paxton), Alexander Archer (Mickey), Zion Battles (Levi), Zahra Jones (Becca), Keenan Knight (Sayid) and Emily Kenwright (Vicki).

Completing the cast are Jordan Laviniere (Cy / Understudy Jamie), Harriet Payne (Bex / Understudy Miss Hedge), Rachel Seiran (Fatimah / Understudy Pritti), Ebony Clarke (Swing / Dance Captain), Joe Wolstenholme (Swing) and Brian James Leys (Understudy Jamie’s Dad / Drag Queens).
