Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new Cinderella musical has released its cast album!

You can get the cast recording here to stream, download, on CD, Vinyl and signed CD following its release on 9 July.

The show is currently running in previews at the Gillian Lynne Theatre with an official opening set for later this month (July). Tickets are on sale online here.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella cast album release

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella features music from Webber with lyrics by David Zippel and an original story and book by Emerald Fennel.

Teased as a new, modern spin on the all time classic fairytale, Carrie Hope Fletcher was previously confirmed to play the title role with Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as the Stepmother.

Ivano Turco plays Prince Sebastian, brother to Prince Charming, Gloria Onitiri plays the Godmother and Laura Baldwin and Georgina Castle play the Stepsisters.

All feature in the cast recording together with guest vocalists Helen George, Adam Lambert and Todrick Hall.

The album was recorded in lockdown after the show’s original opening was postponed.

Lloyd Webber said: “50 years ago I couldn’t get Jesus Christ Superstar on stage as nobody wanted to produce it, so it appeared on record first. It’s so strange to find history repeating itself half a century later with the album of the complete score of my new Cinderella.

“I can’t get Cinderella on stage because I’m not allowed to, so I have gone back to my roots and recorded the album first.”
