Performances started on 5 December but stopped just two weeks later due to new pandemic restrictions.

Those ongoing restrictions have now seen performances cancelled until at least March.

A statement on social media read: “Due to the ongoing restrictions to control the spread of Coronavirus, performances of Les Misérables: The Staged Concert between 16th and 28th February have regretfully been cancelled.

At the time of writing the concert is due to run until April.

The full production is currently scheduled to begin performances on 29 May 2021, subject to social distancing measures being relaxed.

The cast of staged concert features Michael Ball as Javert and Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean. John Owen-Jones is scheduled to play Jean Valjean at certain performances.

Matt Lucas returns as Thénardier with Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine. They’re joined by Katy Secombe as Madame Thénardier with Bradley Jaden as Enjolras, Rob Houchen as Marius, Shan Ako as Eponine and Amara Okereke as Cosette.
