Drag comedy show Death Drop is to return to London’s West End this May.
The show, which premiered last year, will return to the Garrick Theatre from 19 May 2021. Tickets are on sale now here.
The show will feature an all star drag cast with RuPaul’s Drag Race legends Willam and Latrice Royale appearing alongside Britain’s Got Talent 2020 semi-finalist Myra Dubois.
In what will be their West End debuts, Willam will take on the role of 80s pop sensation Shazza, alongside Latrice Royale as Summer Raines, a glamorous American weather girl living in London and Myra Dubois as The Lady.
LoUis CYfer, Anna Phylactic and Holly Stars – who all performed in the show last year – will return to reprise their co-starring roles.
The production will follow the latest government guidelines with a reduced capacity, socially-distanced audience.
A teaser for the show reveals: “It’s 1991 and a gaggle of guests gather on Tuck Island for a soirée like no other. The tension rises as the outrageous guests reveal their suspicious and sordid pasts, and one by one they sashay away, until at the last, nerve-shredding, side-splitting moment the surviving guests find out who-dunnit!
“This rampant, raucous, ridiculous romp of a murder mystery has gallons of gags, and more twists and turns than a drag queens wig.”
The piece has been written by Holly Stars based on an idea by Christopher D. Clegg and is produced by TuckShop and Trafalgar Theatre Productions.
