Amélie The Musical is playing London’s West End for 2021 – here’s who’s on the cast!

Based on the Academy Award and BAFTA nominated 2001 romantic comedy film of the same name, Amélie tells the story of a shy waitress living in Paris who discretely orchestrates the lives of the people around her.

The Olivier and Grammy nominated musical features music by Daniel Messé, lyrics by Messé and Nathan Tysen and a book by Craig Lucas.

Olivier-nominee Audrey Brisson will return to the role of Amélie for the West End transfer.

She’s joined by Sioned Saunders as ‘Gina’, Flora Spencer-Longhurst as ‘Georgette’ / ‘Sylvie’, Rachel Dawson as ‘Amandine’ / ‘Philomene’, Oliver Grant as ‘Lucien’ / ‘Mysterious Man’, Chris Jared as ‘Nino Quincampoix’ and Caolan McCarthy as ‘Hippolito’ / ‘Elton John’.

Also on the cast are Samuel Morgan-Grahame as ‘Joseph’ / ‘Fluffy’, Kate Robson-Stuart as ‘Suzanne’, Jack Quarton as ‘Blind Beggar’, Jez Unwin as Raphael / Bretodeau and Johnson Willis as Collignon / Dufayel.

Completing the company are Nuwan Hugh Perera, Miiya Alexandra, Robyn Sinclair and Matthew James Hinchliffe.

 

Amélie The Musical West End tickets

The show will play at the Criterion Theatre with tickets ranging from £12 to £150. Opening on May 20, the show is currently booking to 25 September 2021.

The standard performance schedule is Tuesday to Sunday at 7:30PM with Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2:30PM and Sunday shows at 3PM.
