The Lion King tickets are on sale now for the show in London’s West End in 2021
After a forced hiatus due to the pandemic, The Lion King will resume performances on 29 July 2021 with tickets on sale now.
TICKET DISCOUNT: Tickets from £25 with no fees – Valid Tuesday – Thursday performances, 1 September – 14 October 2021 when booed by 22 August 2021.
With music & lyrics from Elton John, Tim Rice and Lebo M, The Lion King is set against the majesty of the Serengeti Plains to the evocative rhythms of Africa. Exploding with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music, it tells the timeless story of Simba and his epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
Director Julie Taymor became the first woman to win the Tony Award for ’Best Director of a Musical’ for her work on the production, which features iconic staging and puppets.
The Lion King will resume performances at London’s Lyceum Theatre from 29 July 2021 currently booking through to 3 April 2022.
Kayi Ushe takes on the role of Simba with George Asprey as Scar, David Blake as Banzai, Janique Charles as Nala, Gugwana Dlamini as Rafiki, Shaun Escoffery as Mufasa, Gary Jordan as Zazu, Jamie McGregor as Timon, Melone M’Kenzy as Shenzi and Mark Roper as Pumbaa and Phil Adèle as Ed.
Alongside the West End production a new UK tour of The Lion King musical is on its way.
The tour is currently scheduled to begin performances in Bradford in the spring of 2022.
