Jagged Little Pill musical is officially on its way to London’s West End!

Jagged Little Pill is a jukebox musical based on the 1995 Alanis Morissette album of the same name.


The show opened on Broadway in 2019 and picked up a huge 15 Tony Award nominations and won the Grammy for Best Musical Theatre Album for its Original Cast Recording.

Now there’s good news for fans with Jagged Little Pill musical on its way to the UK!

As first reported by the Daily Mail, a West End production of Jagged Little Pill is set for November.

Producer Adam Kenwright will bring the show to London alongside the original New York team, with work to find a theatre currently underway.

It will be the latest international production of the musical after opening in Sydney, Australia in September 2021.

The original Broadway production closed in December 2021.

What the Jagged Little Pill musical is all about

Directed by Diane Paulus (Waitress), the Jagged Little Pill musical features a book by Diablo Cody (Juno).

Jagged Little Pill is an original story that follows the events which rock a family in present-day suburban Connecticut.

A teaser shares: “The Healys are a picture-perfect family — but looks can be deceiving. When the cracks beneath the surface begin to show, they must choose between maintaining the status quo or facing harsh truths about themselves, their community, and the world around them.”
