Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat West End

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is back at the London Palladium this summer – here’s who’s on the cast.

The new West End production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns for a limited season after previously running in 2019.

The show will run between 1 July to 5 September with tickets on sale now.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 2021 cast

Star of The X Factor and The Bodyguard musical Alexandra Burke will play the role of narrator while Jason Donovan – who previously played Joseph at the Palladium in the 1990s – will take on the role of Pharaoh.

Linzi Hateley, who was nominated for an Olivier Award for her performance in the show’s 1991 revival, will appear as the narrator at select special performances.

The title role of Joseph will be played by Jac Yarrow, returning to the role from 2019.

Further casting includes Bobby Windebank as Simeon and Lloyd Evans as Reuben.

Completing the adult cast are Femi Akinfolarin, Jabari Braham, Gemma Buckingham, Thalia Burt, Jasmin Colangelo, Jonathan Cordin, Francessca Daniella-Baker, Alexander Day, Andre Fabien Francis, Llandyll Gove, Abigayle Honeywill, Blythe Jandoo, Danny Nattrass, Perry O’Dea, Georgina Parkinson, Emily-Ann Potter, Jon Reynolds, Rochelle Sherona, Katie Singh and Callum Train.

A children’s ensemble will feature Ava Belle Alexander, Toby Byers, Mei Chiu, Esme Connolly, Hattie Connolly, Alinah Dagpin, Amelie Davison, Josselyn Ospina Escobar, Kaylenn Aires Fonseca, Noah Swer Fox, Bella Harding, Amber Hodder, Rafferty Ison, Holly Jade Roberts, Harry Jelley, Livi Kent, Tamar Laniado, Charlie McGonagle, Isabelle Mullally, Edesiri Paula Okpenerho, Amy Osborn, Millie Playle, Riley Plummer, Teddy Probets, Austin Riley, Harrison Skinner, Ethan Sokontwe, Ellis Sutherland, Charlie Tumbridge and Lilli Watkins.

Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat first premiered in the 1970s and has gone on to become one of the world’s most widely recognised and performed musicals.

With songs like Any Dream Will Do, Close Every Door, and Go, Go, Go, Joseph, productions over the years have received 6 Tony nominations and 7 Olivier Award nominations.
