Watch cast of Les Misérables Concert perform ahead of opening

The cast of the Les Misérables Concert in the West End performed live on BBC One this week.

The stars of the upcoming production appeared on The One Show on Friday night for a special performance ahead of the show’s opening night.

The Staged Concert will be one of the first musicals to reopen in the West End, playing at London’s Sondheim Theatre from 20 May for a limited time to 5 September. Tickets are on sale here.

Performing from the the theatre, the cast showcased a special medley of I Dreamed A Dream, On My Own and One Day More.

The 2021 Les Misérables concert cast will star Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden as Javert, Lucie Jones as Fantine, Shan Ako as Éponine, Harry Apps as Marius, Gerard Carey as Thénardier, Josefina Gabrielle as Madame Thénardier, Jamie Muscato as Enjolras and Charlie Burn as Cosette

Adapted from Victor Hugo’s novel, Les Miserables is the epic story of one man’s life journey through 18th century France and his struggle to live through the injustice and revolution of the time.

With iconic songs including I Dreamed A Dream, Do You Hear the People Sing and Bring Him Home, it’s a must-see.

Les Miserables’ full production is currently scheduled to return from 26 September.

Meanwhile, The One Show’s latest episode also included a look behind the scenes of Amélie The Musical and Death Drop as theatres prepare to finally reopen after more than a year dark.
