Cast announced for My Night with Reg revival at The Turbine Theatre

The cast for The Turbine Theatre’s upcoming revival of My Night with Reg has been announced.

A new production of Kevin Elyot’s Olivier award winning 1994 play will play at the London venue between 7 July and 21 August.

The cast will feature Stephen K Amos (Benny), James Bradwell (Eric), Edward M Corrie (John), Paul Keating (Guy), Gerard McCarthy (Daniel) and Alan Turkington (Bernie).

Set in Guy’s London flat, old friends and new gather to party through the night. This is the summer of 1985 and, for Guy and his circle, the world is about to change forever, thanks to the mounting AIDS crisis. This award winning comedy captures the fragility of friendship, happiness and life itself.

Matt Ryan directs the piece with design by Lee Newby and casting by Will Burton CDG.

My Night with Reg first premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 1994 before transferring to the West End where it won the 1995 Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

A 2015 revival at Donmar Warehouse which later played a the Apollo Theatre was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Revival.
