Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel is coming to Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre this summer!
Directed by Timothy Sheader, the production will play between 31 July – 25 September 2021 with tickets on sale now here
Featuring a score that includes If I Loved You and You’ll Never Walk Alone, Carousel tells the story of carousel barker Billy Bigelow, whose romance with millworker Julie Jordan comes at the price of both their jobs.

Leading the cast are Carly Bawden as Julie Jordan and Declan Bennett as Billy Bigelow with John Pfumojena as Enoch Snow, Joanna Riding as Nettie Fowlerand Natasha May Thomas as Louise Bigelow.
They’re joined by Brendan Charleson as Mr Bascombe, Jo Eaton-Kent as Mrs Mullin, Sam Mackay as Jigger Craigin, Ediz Mahmut as Young Enoch and Christina Modestou as Carrie Pipperidge.
Completing the company are Chanelle Anthony, Craig Armstrong, William Atkinson, Shay Barclay, Sarah Benbelaid, Madeline Charlemagne, Freya Field, Sebastian Goffin, Amie Hibbert, Tim Hodges, Lukas Hunt, Tessa Kadler, Lindsay McAllister, Matthew McKenna, Jack Mitchell, Charlotte Riby, Lisa Ritchie and Daisy West.

Carousel forms part of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre’s extended 2021 summer season after welcoming over 30,000 people last summer amidst the pandemic.
The venue will reopen this year in June with Romeo and Juliet, directed by Kimberley Sykes, starring Joel MacCormack and Isabel Adomakoh Young in the title roles.
Also running over the summer will be Anansi the Spider (7 – 24 July) and Dragons and Mythical Beasts (13 August – 5 September)
