The Wind in the Willows musical to play at The Turbine Theatre this summer

A new revival of The Wind in the Willows musical will play at The Turbine Theatre this summer.

Based on the book of the same name by Kenneth Grahame, the stage adaption was written by Julian Fellowes with music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe.

Last seen at the London Palladium in 2018, the new revival has been specially adapted for a more intimate outdoor performance as part of Turbine Theatre’s On The Jetty summer season.

The Wind in the Willows will run 21 – 25 July 2021, directed by Sasha Regan.

The cast will feature Tom Duern, Evelyn Hoskins, Josh Coley, Idriss Kargbo, Matthew Jay Ryan, Michael Burgen, Jade Marvin and Emma Ralston.

Join Ratty, Badger, Mole and the impulsive Toad as they embark on a series of riotous adventures spiralling from Toad’s insatiable need for speed!

Other shows On The Jetty this summer will include Joey Contreras’ In Pieces (22 August), a new stage adaptation of Jane Eyre (27 July), The Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (4 August), Stiles & Drewe’s The Three Little Pigs (4 – 7 August), an all female & non-binary production of Romeo & Juliet (3 August), Roles We’ll Never Play (8 August).
