Joey Contreras musical In Pieces is to play an outdoor performance this August.
Following its feature film release online earlier this year, In Pieces will play to in person audiences on 22 August at the Turbine Theatre.
The cast features Kyle Birch (Austyn), Amy Di Bartolemeo (Alex), Jacob Fowler (Hunter), Ross Harmon (Charlie), Beccy Lane (Jael) and Georgie Lovatt (Sam).
They’ll be joined by Roxanne Couch, Millie Cranston, Jack Dargan, Megan Cery Holland, Lucca Chadwick Patel, Ellie Sharpe and Conor Tidman.
Meanwhile filmed performances from Danielle Steers and Jordan Luke Gage will also feature.
The one-night-only performance is directed by Louis Rayneau with choreography by Rachel Sargent.
Tickets are on sale now from theturbinetheatre.com.
A synopsis of the musical shares: “Our love lives are constantly In Pieces. Shifting in and out of feeling fully complete. But you never know how a single spark one day can unlock a new you, so we make a choice at the crossroad, we say yes to the coffee date, and wherever that leads, we learn to embrace the journey.
“The new song cycle threads Contreras’ musical theatre and pop catalogue into a theatrical setting, exploring the universal search for clarity and empowerment through different kinds of relationships.”
In Pieces forms part of Turbine Theatre’s On The Jetty summer season.
Other shows On The Jetty this summer will include The Wind in the Willows (21 – 25 July), a new stage adaptation of Jane Eyre (27 July), The Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (4 August), Stiles & Drewe’s The Three Little Pigs (4 – 7 August), an all female & non-binary production of Romeo & Juliet (3 August), Roles We’ll Never Play (8 August).
