Hit musical Wicked has announced the full cast of its upcoming West End reopening.
Wicked is the magical musical tale reveals the ‘true untold story’ behind the Wizard Of Oz and just what happened before Dorothy dropped in.
The show has been running in London for more than a decade but like other shows has been on pause since last Spring due to the pandemic.
It will reopen at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre from 15 September 2021, currently booking through to 22 May 2022.
Wicked reopening cast
The new West End cast will be led by Laura Pick as Elphaba with Sophie Evans returning to the show as Glinda while Helen Woolf is on maternity leave.
Alistair Brammer plays Fiyero, Kim Ismay plays Madame Morrible, Nicholas McLean plays Boq, Simeon Truby plays Doctor Dillamond, Carina Gillespie plays Nessarose and Andy Hockley plays The Wizard.
Amy Webb is the standby for Elphaba while Charli Baptie is standby for Glinda, providing maternity cover for Lisa-Anne Wood.
The full company is completed by Meg Astin, Rebecca Botterill, Lauren Brooke, Grace Chapman, Michael Colbourne, Conor Crown, Lewis Easter, Nolan Edwards, Joseph Fletcher, Fraser Fraser, Rebecca Gilliland, Lucie Horsfall, Nick Len, Will Lucas, Nicole Lupino, Stuart Maciver, Carl Man, Rhidian Marc, Jessica-Alice McCluskey, Stacey McGuire, Emmie Ray, Natalie Spriggs, Scott Sutcliffe, Genevieve Taylor, Samantha Thomas, Grant Thresh, James Titchener, Libby Watts, Chiarina Woodall and Tom Woollaston.
Featuring some of musical theatre’s most iconic songs written by Stephen Stephen Schwartz, such as Defying Gravity, Wicked will send your spirits soaring to heights you’ll never forget.
The current standard performance schedule is Tuesday to Saturday at 7:30PM with Saturday & Sunday matinees at 2:30PM.
