Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's 2022 season will kick off with a new production of Legally Blonde, directed by Six The Musical’s co-creator Lucy Moss. Based on the hit 2001 movie of the same name starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde The Musical features songs by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach. Get tickets here.
Mrs Doubtfire musical

The musical adaptation of Mrs Doubtfire will make its UK premiere in Manchester next year! Mrs Doubtfire tells the story of out-of-work actor Daniel who, after losing custody of his children in a messy divorce, creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. Zorro The Musical

Hedwig and the Angry Inch

A new revival Hedwig and the Angry Inch will come to Leeds and Manchester in 2022. Leeds Playhouse and HOME Manchester are co-producing the revival, which will star Divina De Campo in the title role. After a two-year-long postponement due to the pandemic, this new musical finally gets its world premiere. Based on Erich Kästner’s novel The Parent Trap, Identical is adapted by Stuart Paterson with music and lyrics from George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Directed by Sir Trevor Nunn, the musical tells the story of twin girls who were separated at birth when their parents divorced. After a chance reunion, they hatch a plan for each to meet the parent they have never met by exchanging identities. Get tickets here.
