The Showstoppers! announce residency at London’s Lyric Theatre

The Showstoppers will bring their improvised musical comedies to London’s Lyric Theatre from November.

The Edinburgh Festival must-see phenomenon with a critically acclaimed West End run and an Olivier Award to their name have blazed a trail in world class improvised comedy and delighted audiences across the globe.

The Showstoppers transform audiences suggestions – for setting, musical styles, show title and more – into an entirely different show every single night. Made up entirely on the spot, they create shows packed with high drama, superb lyrics, dazzling dance routines and catchy melodies.

The group will be performing every month at the Lyric Theatre starting on Monday, 15 November 2021 through to Monday, 21 March 2022.

The new residency joins the previously announced shows at the Garrick Theatre on Monday, 27 September and Monday, 11 October.

The Showstoppers features a rotating cast including Jonathan Ainscough, Ruth Bratt, Justin Brett, Matt Cavendish, Dylan Emery, Pippa Evans, Susan Harrison,Joshua Jackson, Ali James, Sean McCann, Adam Meggido, Philip Pellew, Andrew Pugsley, Lauren Shearing, Lucy Trodd and Heather Urquhart.

They’re joined by rotating group of musicians Craig Apps, Christopher Ash, Alex Atty, Jordan Clarke, Pete Furness, Nathan Gregory, Calie Hough, Chloe Potter, Duncan Walsh Atkins and Andrew Woolf.
