Get Up, Stand Up – The Bob Marley Musical has extended its run in London’s West End.
The new biopic musical is currently playing at the Lyric Theatre with tickets on sale now here.
Penned by Lee Hall (Billy Eliott), the show celebrate Jamaica’s global superstar with some of Marley’s iconic songs, including “No Woman, No Cry”, “Exodus”, “3 Little Birds” and “Get Up Stand Up”.
Following an official opening in October 2021, the show has announced it is now booking all the way through to 29 January 2023.
The standard performance schedule is Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30PM , Sunday at 7PM and 2:30PM matinees on both Saturday and Sunday.
The current cast sees Michael Duke star in the titular role of Bob Marley.

Clint Dyer directs the piece with choreography by Shelley Maxwell, musical supervision by Phil Bateman, orchestration by Simon Hale set design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Charles Balfour, sound by Tony Gayle, sound effect by Ben Grant, costume by Lisa Duncan, wigs, hair and make-up by Campbell Young, video by Tal Yarden, casting by Pippa Ailion and musical direction by Sean Green.
The show had been nominated for 4 Olivier Awards including Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Arinzé Kene, Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Gabrielle Brooks and Best Original Score or New Orchestration for Orchestrator Simon Hale.
