Falsettos UK cast confirmed

The cast for Falsettos in London at The Other Palace has been confirmed.

With music and lyrics by William Finn and a book by Finn and James Lapine, Falsettos made its world premiere on Broadway in 1992.

The musical will now make its European premiere as it plays at The Other Palace for a limited season from August 30 to November 23.

The confirmed cast for Falsettos in London features Natasha J Barnes as Cordelia, Daniel Boys as Marvin, Matt Cardle as Mendel, Gemma Knight-Jones as Charlotte, Laura Pitt-Pulford as Trina and Oliver Savile as Whizzer.

Falsettos tells the story of gay man Marvin, his ex-wife Trina, his psychiatrist Mendel, his son Jason, his lover Whizzer Brown, and his lesbian neighbours Cordelia and Dr. Charlotte.

Having originally started life as two separate Off-Broadway shows – March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland – it picked up seven Tony nominations, winning both Best Score and Best Book.

The performance schedule is Monday-Saturday 7.30pm with Thursday & Saturday Matinees 2.30pm.

Selladoor Worldwide will produce the show which will be directed by Tara Overfield-Wilkinson with designs by PJ McEvoy, lighting by Nic Farman, sound by Chris Whybrow, musical direction by Richard John and musical supervision by Mark Crossland.
