Come From Away’s London cast performed at West End Live 2019 on Saturday.
The free musical theatre festival returned to London’s Trafalgar Square this month, featuring a line up of performances from the West End’s biggest shows.
One of the productions taking to the stage was the Olivier Award winning Come From Away.
The cast performed Me And The Sky, featuring Rachel Tucker, as well as ensemble number Welcome To The Rock.

The critically acclaimed and award winning play shares the touching real-life story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives.
With a score and book written by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, Come From Away proved a huge hit on Broadway before transferring to the West End at the start of 2019.
Winner of Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards last month, producers last month (May 15) announced the show has been extended through to 15 February 2020. The musical was previously booking until September.
Other shows appearing on West End Live’s Saturday schedule included Disney’s Aladdin, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, On Your Feet!, Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables.
Joining them were 9 to 5 The Musical, Mamma Mia!, Waitress, Six, Jesus Christ Superstar, & Juliet, Thriller Live, The View Upstairs.
West End Live will be back for a second day of performances on Sunday June 23.
