Casting has been announced for the new West End production of hit musical Grease.
The iconic show is will begin performances at the Dominion Theatre on 3 May 2022 with tickets on sale now here.
One of the world’s best known musicals, Grease tells the story of the students of Rydell High School. It features the classic songs Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’ and We Go Together.
Meet the Grease cast in the West End!
Dan Partridge (Hairspray, MAMMA MIA!) and Olivia Moore (Waitress, Heathers) will lead the cast as Danny and Sandy respectively.
Peter Andre will make his West End debut playing the role of Vince Fontaine at certain performances. Jason Donovan will star as Teen Angel for certain performances for six weeks from 29 June.
They’ll be joined by Jocasta Almgill (& Juliet) as Rizzo, Paul French (Grease) as Kenickie, Mary Moore (Little Women) as Jan, Jake Reynolds (professional debut) as Doody, Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly (A Chorus Line) as Marty, Damon Gould (Pretty Woman: The Musical) as Sonny and Eloise Davies (Be More Chill) as Frenchie.
Also on the cast are Jessica Croll (Hairspray) as Patty Simcox, Katie Lee (Matilda The Musical) as Cha Cha, Ronan Burns (West Side Story) as Johnny Casino and Corinna Powlesland (An Officer and A Gentleman) as Miss Lynch. Darren Bennett (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) will play Officer Mailie and Vince Fontaine at certain performances.
Completing the company are Jack Harrison-Cooper, Pearce Barron, Rishard-Kyro Nelson, Ellie Kingdon, Remi Ferdinand, Kalisha Johnson, Imogen Bailey, Kevin O’Dwyer and Carly Miles.
The production will be directed by Nikolai Foster with choreography by Arlene Phillips, designs by Colin Richmond, orchestrations and musical supervision by Sarah Travis, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, sound design by Tom Marshall and Richard Brooker, video and projection design by Douglas O’Connell and casting by David Grindrod CDG.

Jason added: “As a lifelong fan of the show, I’m thrilled to be joining the cast of Grease in the role of Teen Angel at the Dominion Theatre for 6 weeks this year. While I may have missed the boat on playing Danny, the Teen Angel seemed like the perfect fit.
“I especially look forward to those few performances I get to perform with Peter Andre as Vince Fontaine. Who would have thought two Aussie’s would take to the West End in such a well-loved musical, singing the most iconic songs? Roll on June.”
Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease made its West End premiere in 1973 and has enjoyed numerous revivals since, last seen in 2011 at the Piccadilly Theatre. More recently the show has been on tour with Peter Andrew starring as Teen Angel and Vince Fontaine
