Simon Gordon to join cast of Heathers the Musical in London

Simon Gordon is to join the cast of Heathers the Musical in London.

The hit show reopened The Other Palace last year and is now booking through to May.

With new dates comes new casting and today the show has unveiled its new JD!

Simon Gordon will takeover the role from Jacob Fowler on 29 March having previously played the part in the show’s 2021 tour.

He joins a current cast which includes Ailsa Davidson as Veronica Sawyer, Maddison Frith as Heather Chandler, Inez Budd as Heather Duke and Teleri Hughes as Heather McNamara.

Also on the cast are Vicki Lee Taylor as Ms Fleming / Veronica’s Mom, Lizzie Bea as Martha Dunnstock, George Maddison as Kurt Kelly, Tom Scanlon as Ram Sweeney and Andy Brady as Ram’s Dad / Coach Ripper.

Completing the current company are are Jermaine Woods, Benjamin Karran, Jordan Cunningham, Eliza Waters, Mary-Jean Caldwell, Hannah Lowther and May Tether.

Andy Fickman directs the production which has choreography from Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound by Dan Samson.

The hit musical, which previously played in the West End in 2018 and 2021, is based of the 1980s movie of the same name.

With a book, music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy, the musical tells the story of high school teenager Veronica Sawyer who is taken under the wings of the Heathers before the plot takes a dark twist.
