A record breaking, award-winning smash hit, Hamilton tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. With music, lyrics and a book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the musical premiered Off-Broadway in 2015 before moving to Broadway and opening in London's West End in December 2017.
Sung-and-rapped through, Hamilton has garnered critical acclaim and pretty much every award going.
Hamilton West End theatre, booking and running time
The show is plays at the Victoria Palace on Victoria Street, London, SW1E 5EA. The nearest tube station is Victoria.
It has a running time of 2 hours, 45 minutes with a 15 minute interval.
Currently the show is closed until 2021 due to the ongoing health crisis.
Best and Cheapest London tickets
Tickets for Hamilton in the West End are currently not on general sale due to the closure. The cost of standard and premium tickets range from £20 to £250.
Performances Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm with Thursday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.
Day Seats and Lottery
There is currently no explicit day seat policy at Hamilton. However at sold out performances, £12.50 standing tickets may be available direct from the box office in person on the day from 10AM.
The daily Hamilton ticket lottery can see you win up to two tickets for just £10 each. The lottery closes at 2PM the day before performances Tuesday-Saturdays and 2PM on Saturday for Monday shows. You’ll need to book the tickets by 6PM the day before the performance Tuesday-Saturday or 6PM on Saturday for Monday shows.
Note that seats may be anywhere in the theatre, including partial view, and pairs of tickets may not be together.
