Moulin Rouge, Sister Act and Back to the Future musicals to perform on Britain’s Got Talent

The casts of Moulin Rouge!, Sister Act and Back To The Future musicals will perform on Britain’s Got Talent this week.

The trio of shows will take to the stage on ITV throughout the week as part of the BGT live semi-finals.

On Monday night (30 May), the company of Moulin Rouge! will kick things off.

They’ll be performing Act 2’s big opening dance number Backstage Romance which includes songs such as Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, Britney Spears’ Toxic and the White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army.

Then on Tuesday (31 May), Back To The Future: The Musical will perform with Roger Bart as Doc Brown and Olly Dobson as Marty McFly.

And in the grand final next Sunday (5 June), Sister Act will give an exclusive performance ahead of opening at the Eventim Apollo in July.

The cast features Jennifer Saunders as Mother Superior alongside Beverley Knight as Deloris Van Cartier, Keala Settle as Sister Mary Patrick, Lesley Joseph as Sister Mary Lazarus.

Other performers over the week include dance group Diversity (1 June) and Emeli Sandé with performance artist Kseniya Simonova (2 June).

There will also be a special collaboration between former Britain’s Got Talent contestants Jon Courtenay, Colin Thackery, The D-Day Darlings and D-Day Juniors, alongside The Chelsea Pensioners Choir and Military Drummers (3 June).

Britain’s Got Talent airs at 8PM on ITV and ITV Hub between Monday, 30 May and Friday, 3 June. The final airs Sunday, 5 June.
