A filmed proshot of Six The Musical is officially on its way!

The show’s original West End cast will return to their roles for a special performance that will be filmed for release.

Those featuring will be Jarnéia Richard-Noel as Catherine of Aragon, Millie O’Connell as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Alexia McIntosh as Anna of Cleves, Aimie Atkinson as Katherine Howard and Maiya Quansah-Breed as Catherine Parr.

The filmed version will be recorded at Vaudeville Theatre in the West End this summer with performances of the current production suspended between 27 June – 1 August. Details on how to get tickets to be in the audience are available on social media.

Further details including a release date are to be announced.

Writers Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss said: “Having our original Oliviers cast captured on film is just such an exciting, mind-blowing prospect.

“We are so thrilled that we are finally going to be able to share their incredible performances of our show with the whole world! Live captures are SUCH an important part of the world of theatre accessibility today – and we are so very grateful that we get this opportunity to share the six queens’ story this way.”

Hit musical Six is co-directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, featuring choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille.

The show first premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 before touring the UK. It now has productions all over the world, including the West End and Broadway.

Alongside the sit down productions, there’s also an ongoing UK tour and two North American touring companies.

An original studio cast recording of the show is available now alongside a recently released live album from the Broadway production.

Six is the latest musical to be filmed for release following Heathers, Waitress and Prince Of Egypt.
