Watch Six the musical’s amazing London flashmob

Six the musical invited fans to take part in a London flashmob – and here’s the results.

Posts on the musical’s social media channels at the end of August revealed plans to stage a group dance in central London.

It took place outside the Tower Of London at 12PM on Saturday, August 31.

Thousands of fans of the hit musical turned out to dance in the sun, performing a routine put together by the show’s choreographer Six Carrie-Anne Ingrouille.

Joining fans were the current cast of Six, singing the show’s title song.

Nominated for five Olivier Awards, SIX turns Tudor queens into pop princesses as 500 years of historical heartbreak becomes an hour of 21st century sass.

The show – written and composed by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss – has become a huge hit since first premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

As well as the West End production, a new Six The Musical UK tour will begin performances later this year.

And in 2020, the show will open on Broadway, playing at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre from March 12, 2020.
