Emily Benjamin represented Cabaret at West End Live this weekend with a standout performance.

West End Live was back this month with a host of performances from the biggest musicals.

One of the shows hitting the stage was Cabaret with Emily Benjamin performing the musical’s iconic title song.

Transforming the Playhouse Theatre, Cabaret has taken up residence at The Kit Kat Club where it recently extended its run to November 2022.

Leading the current cast (to 1 October) are Fra Fee as The Emcee and Amy Lennox as Sally Bowles.

One of the most successful musicals of all time, Cabaret features the songs Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time, Money and the title number. It has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, book by Joe Masteroff. Based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The new West End revival recently picked up seven Olivier Awards including Best Musical Revival.

Other casts appearing on West End Live 2022 this year include Come From Away, Disney’s The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde The Musical, Mary Poppins, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical, Chess, Bonnie & Clyde The Musical, Six, South Pacific, Les Miserables, My Fair Lady and Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World The Musical.
