Mamma Mia! will continue to play in London’s West End

The smash hit musical marked its 20th anniversary at the Novello Theatre earlier this year (Saturday 6 April) having first premiered in 1999.

Now the show has extended its run through to September 2020.

Set on a Greek island paradise, Mamma Mia! cleverly tells a story of love, friendship and identity through the timeless songs of ABBA. Sophie’s quest to discover the father she’s never known brings her mother face to face with three men from her distant romantic past on the eve of a wedding they’ll never forget!

The musical features a book by Catherine Johnson with direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography from Anthony Van Laast.
