Cast for The Boy Friend at Menier Chocolate Factory revealed

The cast for the 2019 revival of The Boy Friend at the Menier Chocolate Factory has been announced.

Full of song and dance, The Boy Friend is a story of love set in 1920s French Riviera at a Finishing School.

First premiering in 1953, the musical features music by George Stiles with lyrics and a book by Anthony Drewe with Elliot Davis as co-author.

The Boy Friend will play at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 2 November through to 7 March 2020. Tickets are on sale now.

The Boy Friend cast

The Boy Friend cast will feature Janie Dee as Madame DuBonnet with Tiffany Graves as Hortense, Amara Okereke as Polly, Adrian Edmondson as Lord Brockhurst, Issy Van Randwyck as Lady Brockhurst, Dylan Mason as Tony and Jack Butterworth as Bobby Van Husen.

The creative team will be led by director Matthew White with choreography and associate direction by Bill Deamer, design from Paul Farnsworth, lighting design by Paul Anderson, sound design by Gregory Clarke, hair and wig design by Richard Mawbey, musical supervision and direction by Simon Beck and orchestration from David Cullen.
