Joe Sugg is currently starring in the West End cast of Waitress – watch a clip of him in action here.

With a Tony and Grammy nominated score by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson and direction by Paulus, Waitress features a ground-breaking, all-female lead creative team.

It tells the story of Jenna a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.

YouTuber and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg appears in the role of Ogie, the love interest of Jenna’s colleague at the diner, Dawn, currently played by Laura Baldwin.

On joining the company earlier this year, Joe said: “I got to see the show a couple of months back and it’s absolutely fantastic.

“I’m excited to be a part of the cast and to have now landed a role in the West End really has topped off an incredible year for me. I hope I do everyone proud.”

Originally opening in February of this year, the musical has extended its booking period at the Adelphi Theatre until March 28, 2020 with new tickets now on sale.

Alongside Sugg, Lucie Jones currently appears in the lead role of Jenna with Sandra Marvin as Becky, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter and Andrew Boyer as diner owner Old Joe.

Performances Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm with Wednesday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.
