Noah Thomas to join Everybody’s Talking About Jamie cast in West End

Noah Thomas is to takeover the title role of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie cast in London’s West End.

Currently studying at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Thomas will take over from Layton Williams from 6 January.

Williams will reprise the role on the UK tour.

Thomas was discovered during open auditions looking for a new Jamie earlier in 2019.

Producer Nica Burns said: “Noah was the 211th and final performer we auditioned for Jamie. After he’d sung the opening number and read the first scene, I was tingling with excitement. We had found our Jamie.

“Noah is making his professional debut in one of the biggest and most demanding roles in musical theatre: it needs a really good actor who can also sing and dance to the highest level.”

Alongside Thomas, other new cast members joining the West End soon include Bianca Del Rio who returns to the role of Hugo and drag alter-ego Loco Chanelle from 9 December.

Meanwhile, soap star Preeya Kalidas soap star takes on the role of Miss Hedge from November 19.
