& Juliet extends run in London's West End to March 2023

Hit musical & Juliet has extended its booking period in London’s West End.

The brand new jukebox musical is currently playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre having opened in November 2019.

Fresh from reopening following closure during the pandemic, the show has now extended its booking period through to 25 March 2023.

& Juliet is described as an “irreverent and fun-loving” musical that retells the classic story of Romeo and Juliet by asking: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning?

The show features a pop score by Max Martin, with songs including Break Free (Ariana Grande), …Baby One More Time (Britney Spears), Teenage Dream (Katy Perry) Everybody (Backstreet Boys), Can’t Feel My Face (The Weeknd) and It’s My Life (Bon Jovi).

The current London cast features Miriam-Teak Lee as Juliet, with Oliver Tompsett and Cassidy Janson as Mr and Mrs. Shakespeare, Keala Settle as Nurse (Malinda Parris will play the role from 20 June) and Tom Francis as Romeo.

They’re joined by Alex Thomas-Smith as May, Julius D’Silva as Lance and Tim Mahendran as Francois.

Making up the ensemble are Ebony Clarke, Ivan De Freitas, Rhian Duncan, Bessy Ewa, Collette Guitart, Cassandra Lee, Nathan Louis-Fernand, Zara Macintosh, Carl Man, Christian Maynard, Rachel Moran, Owen Saward, Aaron Shales, Alex Tranter, Benjamin Terry, Sophie Usher, Rhys Wilkinson and Suki Wong.

The standard performance schedule is Monday – Saturday 7:30pm with Friday & Saturday matinees at 2:30pm.
