Tina: The Tina Turner Musical has extended its run in London's West End through to 2021.
Tina is a musical based on the life and legendary music of international recording artist Tina Turner.
The show is currently playing at the Aldwych Theatre and has released a new batch of 200,000 tickets through to January 2021. The show was previously booking until June 2020.
Alongside the extension, the show has announced a new cast.
Jammy Kasango will take over from Ashley Zhangazha as Ike Turner from 17 March while Chanel Haynes will take on the role of alternate Tina, making her West End debut.
The full new cast from March 17 will see Aisha Jawando continuing as Tina Turner alongside Joe Evans as Phil Spector/Terry Britten, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Bullock, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Gran Georgeanna (GG), Francesca Jackson as Rhonda, Matt Mills as Richard, Posi Morakinyo as Raymond, Garmon Rhys as Roger, Joseph Richardson as Erwin Bach and Lucy Vardi as Zelma.
Making up the ensemble are Lori Barker and Daniella Bowen, Chris Grahamson who plays Carpenter, Paul Mukembo who plays Tina's son Craig and Alex Okoampa who plays Tina's son Ronnie, the Ikette's are played by Samara Casteallo, Mia Musak and Anu Ogunmefun with swings Derek Aidoo, Joshua Da Costa, Livvy Evans, Raquel Jones, DeeArna McLean, Saran Webb, Samuel J Weir and Michael Woolston-Thomas.

Tina in London's West End plays at the Aldwych Theatre having opened in April 2018.
Performances are at 7:30PM Monday, 7PM Tuesday and 7:30PM Wednesday-Saturday with 2:30PM matinees on Thursdays and Saturdays.
A new Broadway production recently opened at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York, starring original West End Tina, Adrienne Warren.
