Tina: The Tina Turner Musical will return to London’s West End in July 2021.
Tina is a musical based on the life and legendary music of international recording artist Tina Turner.
The show is set to reopen at the Aldwych Theatre on 28 July 2021, subject to the government easing social distancing restrictions.
The current cast of the show stars Aisha Jawando as Tina Turner alongside Jammy Kasango as Ike Turner, Joe Evans as Phil Spector/Terry Britten, Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky as Bullock, Irene Myrtle Forrester as Gran Georgeanna (GG), Francesca Jackson as Rhonda, Matt Mills as Richard, Posi Morakinyo as Raymond, Garmon Rhys as Roger, Joseph Richardson as Erwin Bach and Lucy Vardi as Zelma. Chanel Haynes will play the role of Tina at certain performances.
Making up the ensemble are Lori Barker, Chris Grahamson who plays Carpenter, Paul Mukembo who plays Tina’s son Craig and Alex Okoampa who plays Tina’s son Ronnie, the Ikette’s are played by Samara Casteallo, Mia Musak and Anu Ogunmefun with swings Derek Aidoo, Joshua Da Costa, Livvy Evans, Raquel Jones, DeeArna McLean, Saran Webb, Samuel J Weir and Michael Woolston-Thomas.
The child cast features Tia Murrell, Rae Ann Quayle, and Poppy Cunningham sharing the role of young Anna Mae; Shai Codrington, Sophia Anne Angiama and Mia Jones sharing young Alline and Elias Agbodan George, Remi Dabiri-McQuaid and Romell Barrocks-Bedeau sharing young Craig.

The standard performance schedule is shows at 7PM Monday and 7:30PM Wednesday-Saturday with 2:30PM matinees Thursday & Saturday and 3PM matinees on Sunday
