The full West End cast of Hello, Dolly! at the Adelphi Theatre has been confirmed.
The revival of the classic musical will run in London from August 11 2020 for a limited engagement. Tickets are on sale now.
It was previously announced that Imelda Staunton would star in the title role of Dolly Gallagher Levi with Jenna Russell as Irene Molloy and Andy Nyman in the role of Horace Vandergelder.
Joining them are Harry Hepple (Cornelius Hackl), Tyrone Huntley (Barnaby Tucker) and Clare Halse (Minnie Fay).
Making up the full cast will be Craig Armstrong, Gemma Atkins, Jenni Bowden, Alan Bradshaw, Natalie Chua, Joshua Clemetson, Brendan Cull, Bessy Ewa, Isaac Gryn, Ashlee Irish, Jodie Jacobs, Paul Kemble, Emily Langham, Amira Matthews, Sarah Marie Maxwell, Laura Medforth and Matt Overfield.
Completing the company are Angelo Paragoso, Tom Partridge, Wendy Lee Purdy, Edwin Ray, Phil Snowden, Bree Smith, Christine Tucker, Gavin Wilkinson and Liam Wrate.
Dominic Cooke will direct, having previously worked with Staunton on the National Theatre’s 2017 production of Follies.
Also on the creative team are Bill Deamer (choreography), Rae Smith (design) and Nick Skilbeck (musical supervision).
Hello, Holly! debuted on Broadway in the 1960s, featuring a book by Michael Stewart with music & lyrics by Jerry Herman.
Based on Thornton Wilder’s play The Matchmaker, the musical follows socialite-turned-matchmaker Dolly Levi in her quest to find love for those around her as well as herself.
Hello, Dolly! runs at London’s Adelphi Theatre from 11 August 2020 through to 6 March 2021.
