Sister Act The Musical has rescheduled its planned London run and UK tour.
Originally due to play at the Eventim Apollo this summer, the show will now run from July 20, 2021 through to August 29, 2021.
Whoopi Goldberg is still confirmed for the cast, reprising her starring role as Deloris Van Cartier for the very first time on the stage.
She'll be joined by Jennifer Saunders in the role of Mother Superior with further casting to be confirmed.
In a statement, producers said: "We would like to announce that due to current government guidelines resulting in a delay to the production, performances of Sister Act The Musical in London and on tour have now been rescheduled.
'Current ticketholders for the London run have been moved into the equivalent performance and the same seats for the 2021 run, by day of week. Patrons will be able to use their current ticket for performances next year.
"The Eventim Apollo Box Office and ticket agents will be in touch with patrons in the coming weeks, no action is needed."
Meanwhile the UK tour, which was due to kick off this week (April 21), has also been rescheduled with new dates to be confirmed.
The statement added: "All the latest tour news will be announced in the coming weeks and ticketholders for the tour will be contacted by the venue they purchased tickets from, no action is needed."
Casting for the tour will also be announced soon.
Based on the hit movie, Sister Act tells the story of a singer who is forced to join a convent after being placed in a witness protection program.
Sister Act features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner with additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
