Louise Redknapp has re-joined the cast of 9 To 5 The Musical in the West End.
The singer and actress was forced out of the show before opening night due to an injury earlier this year.
Redknapp returned to takeover the role of Violet at the Savoy Theatre last night, Monday, March 25.
She replaced Caroline Sheen who stepped in to play the part from opening on 28 January 2019.
Fans at the theatre Monday were full of praise for Louise’s debut.
Daniel Lewis (@orton82) posted to Twitter after the show: “Iconic! @LouiseRedknapp never disappoints. What an amazing debut in @9to5MusicalUK soooooooooo worth the wait! #LouiseRedknapp 💛”

With a score written by country music icon Dolly Parton, 9 To 5 The Musical is based on the 1980s comedy movie of the same name, which Dolly starred in.
It tells the story of workmates Doralee, Violet and Judy who push back against sexist supervisor Franklin Hart.
The Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-nominated score features some of Parton’s biggest hits, including the legendary ‘9 to 5’, as well as original songs written for the show.
The musical first premiered in Los Angeles in 2008 before moving to Broadway in 2009 with a cast including Stephanie J. Block, Megan Hilty, Allison Janney and Andy Karl.
Meanwhile, its been confirmed that a second UK tour will begin in September just after the West end run.
Parton said: “I am beyond thrilled to the response from across the pond to 9 to 5 the Musical.
“The overwhelmingly positive fan reaction to this universal story tickles every rhinestone on my body. I can’t wait for more people throughout the UK and Ireland to enjoy it and sing along.”
Casting for the tour has yet to be confirmed.
