Waitress in London’s West End is now offering Day Seat tickets Monday to Friday.
Subject to availability, £25 Day Seat tickets will be available from the Adelphi Theatre Box Office from 10AM on weekday mornings.
Waitress started performances on the West End in February 2019 following a successful Broadway run, where it is currently still playing.
Waitress features a ground-breaking, all-female lead creative team, this Tony Award®-nominated hit features original music and lyrics by 6-time Grammy®nominee Sara Bareilles (“Love Song,” “Brave”), a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) and direction by Tony Award® winner Diane Paulus (Pippin, Finding Neverland).
The current West End London cast features Katharine McPhee (American Idol, Waitress on Broadway, Smash) in the lead role of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.
Pouring her heart into her pies, she crafts desserts that mirror her topsy-turvy life such as “The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie” and “Betrayed By My Eggs Pie.”
When a baking contest in a nearby county — and a satisfying run-in with someone new — show Jenna a chance at a fresh start, she must find the courage to seize it. Change is on the menu, as long as Jenna can write her own perfectly personal recipe for happiness.
Other cast include Marisha Wallace as Becky, Laura Baldwin as Dawn, with Peter Hannah as Earl, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter and Shaun Prendergast as diner owner Old Joe.
Completing the cast are Kelly Agbowu, Piers Bate, Nicole Raquel Dennis, Michael Hamway, Peter Hannah, Stephen Leask, Chris McGuigan, Olivia Moore, Nathaniel Morrison, Sarah O’Connor, Leanne Pinder and Charlotte Riby.
Waitress is currently playing at the Adelphi Theatre and booking through until October 2019.
Performances are Monday-Saturday with matinees on both Wednesday and Saturday. There are no Sunday performances.
