Watch cast of & Juliet perform on Comic Relief for Red Nose Day

& Juliet took to the stage last night for Comic Relief’s 2022 telethon.

The cast of the West End musical performed a medley of hits for the show as part of the Red Nose Day fundraiser.

Those taking part in the performance included Kirstie Skivington as Anne Hathaway, Oliver Tompsett as William Shakespeare, Miriam-Teak Lee as Juliet and Tom Francis as Romeo, joined by the show’s talented ensemble.

Watch the company singing I Want It That Way, Roar and It’s My Life in the performance below!

Meanwhile the cast of & Juliet weren’t the only stagey treat on Comic Relief this year.

There was also an appearance from Mischief Comedy’s Magic Goes Wrong which, living up to its name, faced a technical hiccup when it first aired.

Red Nose Day for Comic Relief took place on Friday 18 March from 7PM on BBC One and iPlayer and raised over £40 million.

As well as performances from West End shows there comedy sketches, special guests and much needed appeal films.

The night also saw Comic Opera return as the English National Opera helped to push six celebrities to their limits in a unique challenge – learning to be opera singers.

Joined by ENO’s award-winning Chorus and Orchestra, the celebs had 24 hours to master the highly skilled classical art form before performing live at The London Coliseum in front of 2,000 paying audience members.

Plus, reigning Strictly Champions Rose Ayling Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reunited to perform one of their stunning routines.
