Showstopper! The Improvised Musical announces new West End residency for 2023

The Showstoppers will bring their improvised musical comedies to London’s Cambridge Theatre from May.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical will begin performances from 22 May 2023 following a monthly residency at the Lyric. Full dates and tickets are available here.

Artistic Directors Adam Meggido and Dylan Emery said: “After a wonderful seven years at the Lyric, we are delighted to begin a new residency at the Cambridge Theatre.

“We can’t wait to make up dozens more brand-new spontaneous musicals right in the heart of the West End among all the shows that we know and love. Thanks for having us, LW Theatres!”

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical is a fully-realised musical created live on the spot from audience suggestions. The cast take suggestions from the audience for the setting and musical styles and turn them into ingenious storylines, hilarious characters and stunning song and dance numbers.

The audience also name that night’s show, which is added to The Showstoppers’ archive of more than 1,200 shows that they have performed since the show’s inception in 2008.
