Watch The Prince of Egypt musical cast perform on Dancing On Ice

The cast of new West End musical The Prince of Egypt performed on Dancing On Ice on Sunday night.

Adapted from the 1998 DreamWorks animated movie, The Prince of Egypt musical will run at the Dominion Theatre in London from February with tickets now on sale.

The show’s cast appeared on TV at the weekened (January 12) as they performed on Dancing On Ice.

Christine Allado, who plays Tzipporah, and Alexia Khadime, who plays Miriam, were joined by the show’s company for a performance of When You Believe.

Joining Allado and Khadime on the cast are Luke Brady as Moses and Liam Tamne as Ramses with Joe Dixon as Seti, Debbie Kurup as Queen Tuya, Gary Wilmot as Jethro, Adam Pearce as Hotep, Tanisha Spring as Nefertari and Silas Wyatt-Barke as Aaron.

Originally produced by DreamWorks animation, The Prince of Egypt is an adaptation of the Book of Exodus and tells the journey of Moses as from being a prince of Egypt to his ultimate destiny to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Previews start on February 5, 2020, opening on February 25 and currently booking through to September 12.

The stage adaption will feature new songs from Stephen Schwartz alongside the original songs the Wicked composer penned for the movie, including Oscar-winning track When You Believe.
